The soil laboratory takes great steps to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of your soil analysis. We run our in-house Quality Assurance/Quality Control check every 36th sample. The results of the QA/QC are always available online for you to view. Besides these in-house checks, we participate in the Agricultural Laboratory Proficiency program. Here we are tested on 5 samples each quarter for pH, Buffer pH, Bray P-1, Bray-K, Ammonium Acetate-K, Organic Matter, Ca, Mg, B, Zn, Mn, S, Cu, and Fe. We are also certified by the WI Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection. This certification requires us to submit monthly samples to the University of Wisconsin soil lab, as well as score a proficient number in their semi-annual check-sample exchange.

Analysis is not the only soil-related service at RRL. We can also provide you with soil sampling, field mapping, VRT recs, nutrient management planning, and fertilizer and manure testing. Not to mention our convenient sampling kits and recommendations for lawns, gardens, managed pastures, and wildlife food plots.
