Donald Meyer, President
Don is a 1975 graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He attended graduate school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and Milwaukee. He is an original founder of the National Alfalfa Hay Testing Association (now known as National Forage Testing Association) and served as chairman of that group. He is the past director of the Midwest Lab Consortium and the only private industry member of the USDA-NIR Forage Network.

Aside from administrative responsibilities at the lab, Don develops NIR calibrations and works with customer service.

Twilah Kulow, Lab Manager/Forage Supervisor Twilah Kulow, Lab Manager / Forage Supervisor
Twilah is a 1982 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She started at Rock River Lab in 1982. Twilah brought an extensive agricultural background with her. Knowing the analysis (NIR & Wet Chemistry) Rock River Lab produces, directly affects the farming community. She takes pride in the quality analysis produced at Rock River Lab. Twilah is always available and happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
Dustin Sawyer, Soil Lab Supervisor
In 2004 Dustin received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.  He majored in Soil Science and  minored in Chemistry.  Dustin is a member of the Soil and Water Conservation Society of America and is a Certified Soil Tester.
Roger Weiland, Salesperson

Roger Weiland, Customer Service Representative
Roger has 40 years experience in livestock nutrition in WI, MN and ND. He retired in 1996. From 1996-present he has been a sales and marketing rep for Rock River Laboratory, Inc.

Ron Pahlow, Salesperson Ron Pahlow, Customer Service Representative
Ron Pahlow has worked in agriculture since 1959, and has been a Sales and Marketing Representative for Rock River Laboratory since 2000. He has had a wealth of experience in agriculture; including DHI supervisor, owning a Curtis A.I. franchise, feed ration advisor, and as a supervisor of on farm salespersons. Ron is very happy to use his wealth of experience to help you in selecting the ideal feed sampling program, and in interpreting any feed testing concerns that you or your customers may have.
Randy Busch, Soil Salesperson CCA

Randy Busch, Nutrient Management Specialist, CCA USDA/NRCS TSP
Randy received his Bachelor of Science in Soil Science from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in 1991. Previously worked as a Precision Farming Coordinator and agronomist for Jefferson County Farmco and before that as a Soil Lab Director in northwest-central Wisconsin. Randy is a Certified Crop Advisor specializing in fertility and nutrient management issues. Randy is a member of the Wisconsin Fertilizer and Chemical Association and likewise the Wisconsin Association of Professional Agronomic Consultants.

Matt Luther, Nutrient Management Specialist, CCA TSP
Matt is a 1995 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, River Falls.  Matt
has experience in nutrient management planning pertaining to USDA programs and county ordinances, crop diagnostics, soil test recommendations, crop budgets, pesticide and fertilizer recommendations and inventory management.
Dawn Learned, Office Manager, Feed/Soil Customer Service
Dawn Learned is a former Californian who came to Rock River Laboratory in 1993. She has worked in the office since she arrived, and has been the office manager since 1999. Dawn is one of the people you are most likely to hear when your phone call to Rock River Laboratory is answered. She is able to assist you with any questions you may have regarding sample status in the lab, providing you with sampling supplies, or billing concerns. Dawn, as are the rest of the people at Rock River Laboratory Inc., is dedicated to assisting you to make our service top notch.
Jackie Naatz, Soil/Feed Customer Service
Jackie Naatz came to Rock River Laboratory, Inc. in 1999 with 20 years wholesale agronomy experience. She is one of the office people most likely to answer your phone calls to the lab. She will be able to help you with any questions regarding sample status, ordering of supplies or billing concerns. Jackie is dedicated to provide excellent service to our customers.
Doug Arterburn, Project Manager, Information Technology
Doug is a native of Iowa and has been writing computer programs for the lab since 1979. In 2006, he became a fulltime Rock River Lab employee. Although he has an important sounding title, one he picked out himself, we just think of him as the computer guy. Doug has 30 years of experience in the computer industry and is dedicated to ensuring that computer technology increases productivity and efficiency for Rock River Lab and our customers. He is most likely to handle your questions about such tasks as accessing your reports via www.rockriverlab.com, entering Soil Information Sheets on our website, and generating custom report formats.
