Soil
The soil laboratory takes great steps to assure
the accuracy and timely analysis of your soil samples. We run
our in-house check every 36th sample. We also calibrate our pH
probes after every 12 samples, and our P/K analyzer every 180
samples. Besides these in-house checks, we participate in the
North American Proficiency Testing Program. Here we are tested
on 5 samples each quarter for pH, SMP pH, Bray P-1, Olsen-P, Bray-K,
Ammonium Acetate-K, Organic Matter, Ca, Mg, B, Zn, Mn, S, Cu,
and Fe. We are also certified by the WI-FSA. This certification
requires us to submit monthly samples to the University of Wisconsin
soil lab, and score a proficient number in their semi-annual check
sample exchange. We can also boast of our combined 30 years of
soil laboratory experience between our 5 laboratory technicians.
We work long, hard hours during the spring and
fall season to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of your results.
We would be delighted to discuss any questions or concerns that
